CC Chapter 1: Home Castle

Home Castle. That's what everyone called it. It was in a peaceful village where everyone got along. It was well protected from bandits and other people trying to get to the greatest possession the castle held. The crystal.

The crystal is a large, well, crystal, that is said to give immense power to whoever has it. No one in the village, not even the King, wanted the power. But everyone safe guarded the crystal, for they knew someone evil was always plotting to use the power to rule the land.

Four special knights were given the duty of protecting this crystal with their lives. There was Brenton, the knight of fire. He could create fireballs with his fists and blow flames out of his mouth.

The second knight was Ace. His power relied on ice. The air around him was always cool, and he create a large ice shard in the air to crush those who opposed him.

Rai was the knight of lightning. He wore red armor, as opposed to Brenton's orange and Ace's blue armor, and could shoot lightning out of his fingertips.

Our fourth, and final knight, is Daniel. He was poison. He wore green armor, and could poison things with a simple touch.

Each of our knights were to marry a beautiful princess, by the King's order. Today was their wedding day. Celebrating the wedding in Home Castle were tons of peasants, knights, and friends. Everything was perfect for the knights. They just had to wait for the Princesses to arrive and then they would be married.

Waiting for their soon to be wives to show up, a white knight came crashing through the door, and fell to the ground. Blood was pouring out of his chest, and he died.

The four knights made their way to the door, where they heard the King pleading and begging. He has never done so before. What was happening? Brenton, Ace, Rai, and Daniel unsheathed their swords, and ran passed the door to see what had happened.
